Although Ann Arbor is wonderful during the winter, many people travel to other states or even out of the country.  We usually see a lot of people traveling out west to take advantage of the snow in the Rocky Mountains and ski.  If you visit the Ann Arbor airport anytime during the winter, you will see people in their ski gear getting ready to board an airplane headed for Denver, Colorado.
